Main Show
​Each September, Remarkable Theatre presents its main stage production at the Arrowtown Athenaeum Hall - a larger-scale play that brings local performers together for a full theatrical season.
From classic comedy to contemporary favourites, past productions have included Take A Chance on Me, Blackadder, ’Allo ’Allo, Gone to Seed, Cosi, and more. These annual shows are a highlight of the theatre calendar, known for their strong performances, lively storytelling, and the unique charm of seeing great theatre in an intimate historic venue.
With a mix of well-loved titles and fresh surprises, Remarkable Theatre’s September productions celebrate community, creativity, and the joy of live performance.

Remarkable Theatre is currently in the process of selecting its main stage production for 2026. We’re keen to hear from anyone interested in directing or submitting a proposal — whether for 2026 or future seasons.
